More Questions than Answers

(I got distracted yesterday morning and never made it back to the cards. Here to try again! I will likely do a weekly reading later today with the TdM, so might edit this post or make a separate one.)

So an interesting set of jumpers this morning: King of Wands, Six of Cups, Ace of Cups, Nine of Wands. Queen of Wands on the bottom, Two of Wands at the crown. Lots of fire energy!

Seen in a spread, the vigilant Nine can be seen looking to the left at the Ace, the Six, and the King. Is he standing guard over these energies? Is the effort to do so wearing him out? Maybe. I dig the Ace and Six of Cups being paired, the cup flowing over with fresh emotion and the Six signaling an innocent and generous exchange of love, perhaps with the King? And the Queen on the bottom rounding it out. A Queen I relate to or aspire to myself, with her cat at her feet and a sunflower in hand (I'm a Leo rising). I've also heard her described as a message to make your moves in silence, which fits at least one or two projects I'm working on.

The Two of Wands has stood in for K in the recent past (him being focused only on the small world in his hands, a world that he required to revolve around him), but here I see it more aligned with the traditional meaning of planning, risk-taking, travel. Moving beyond that small world. Interesting that in some RWS decks the sky is yellow and others it is grey or even blue. My version is grey, which I think is fitting of the planning/decision-making aspect of the card; I can see it as looking out on a foggy morning and making sense of which way to go, or choosing to stay in the fog and the small world that is in your hands (i.e., your day-to-day life as it is).

Anyway, that's what I've got for today. I guess I am choosing to see this as giving me a bit of insight into my anxieties and what they may be protecting and/or afraid of, as well as some insight into moving past them and ahead into the future. A weekly reading may follow later!
